The project concerns the management and exploitation of forest ecosystems with the preparation of Forestry Studies concerning forest clusters of responsibility of the respective Forestry Services throughout the Territory, which will be drawn up in accordance with the provisions of the Technical Specifications for the preparation of forestry studies of forest and forest ecosystem management studies, under no. YPEN/DPDP/129246/6285/25-11-2024 Ministerial Decision (Official Gazette B' 6930/18-12-2024).
The objective of the Forestry studies is the integrated management of all the forest ecosystems of the country according to the possibilities that each has. The project is of vital importance, since forestry is organized for the fuller achievement of the purposes pursued through it, and in particular to ensure the protection, maintenance and development of forests and the perpetual enjoyment of fruits. The preparation of management and exploitation studies of the forest ecosystems will be based on the provisions of article 63 of the Forestry Code Forestry studies. The planning of appropriate actions, actions and projects (afforestation or reforestation, management methods, forestry handling and wood harvesting, etc.) will lead (immediately as well as in the medium term) in the effective protection of forest ecosystems against natural disasters, in the protection of the landscape and in the preservation of biodiversity and in general in the protection of the forests of the wider natural environment.
