The public health perspective must be particularly taken into account in the operation. The procurement concerns forestry and ongoing operation and maintenance for the roaming areas within the areas managed by the Foundation, which currently make up about 11, 250 hectares. The Skånska Landskap Foundation is responsible for nineteen hiking areas spread across Scania. The foundation owns parts of the land itself, but also manages the land of five other foundations. A certified test is carried out on all fields forestry that must provide returns to the foundations. Agriculture, hunting etc. are leased out to local users. The procurement is divided into three sub-areas as below: A. Forestry Forestry work must be carried out in accordance with current FSC and PEFC certification standards. Tasks within sub-area A refer to Felling, Forestry and Nature Conservation. B. Operation and maintenance of roaming areas The assignment includes ongoing operation and simple fault-remedial maintenance within the respective roaming area. Subarea B is divided within the sub-areas: B1: Full tuft B2: Other roaming areas. The specification of each sub-area appears in the procurement documents.
