Tender is invited to forecasts of crime development

Short description: The project will use statistical methods and big data to create forecasts for crime development. Under headlines such as predictive policing, crime forecasting and big data policing, statistical method development has contributed to new ways to use the crime statistics. This project will apply similar approaches and methods to say something about future crime development. The project can also be based on well -known factors that the research has shown that influences crime, and analyze how much the factors must change in order for it to have a noticeable impact in the crime statistics. The project can also investigate the importance of factors that are not as well known in the literature, as access to services such as public transport, the design of public spaces, etc. As well as how public spaces are designed with regard to street lighting, etc. For a more detailed description of the delivery, see Appendix 1 to the contract (the client's description of the assignment).
