Berytech is seeking to hire consultants that will be able to deliver workshops and clinic to Societe Robert Jabbour as per the scope of the interventions mentioned below: Societe Robert Jabbour is an industrial food company located in Zgharta, manufacturing of a wide range of traditional Lebanese products such as olive oil, olives, pickles, jams, pomegranate molasses, orange blossom water, vinegars and others
Scope of work and Deliverables
The Consultant is expected to fulfill the following in addition to any other task required:
Employee Hygiene Training:
Conduct comprehensive training sessions for employees on hygiene practices, emphasizing proper sanitation, personal hygiene, and food safety protocols.
Educate employees on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards in the workplace.
Facility Standardization:
Collaborate with the management to develop and implement standardized facility designs that comply with local and export market standards.
Assess the current facility layout, equipment, and infrastructure to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Compliance with Standards:
Work closely with the management to ensure the company meets the required standards for both local and export markets.
Review and provide recommendations on policies, procedures, and documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
On-site Visits and Inspections:
Conduct frequent visits to the location to assess and monitor the implementation of hygiene practices and facility standardization.
Perform inspections to identify any non-compliance issues and provide guidance on necessary corrective actions.
Facility Design Recommendations:
Provide detailed recommendations on facility design, including the layout, flow of operations, placement of equipment, and necessary facilities (e.g., washrooms, handwashing stations, waste disposal systems).
Ensure that the facility is optimized for cleanliness, efficiency, and compliance with hygiene standards.

Prepare training materials, presentations, and resources for employee hygiene training sessions.

The consultant will provide these deliverables within the specified intervention period after working closely with the company to train the employees on the hygiene practices and work with the management to have a well-structured standardized location that would be considered compliant with the standards required in the local and export markets.
As part of the program-s Monitoring and Evaluation (ME&L) processes, the consultant is required to:
Deliver a briefing report to the program-s team.
Attending check-ins short meetings, if needed and required by the program-s team
Attending MEL induction meeting before the beginning of the session if requested by the program-s team
Conducting pre-post assessment, feedback and attendance as requested by the program team

Qualifications
Bachelor-s degree, MSc Degree in food processing, quality control, food safety, food science, environmental Health, hospitality management, and any other relevant field.
At least 15 years of experience in similar projects.
Proven experience in delivering training and training materials and in coaching sessions.
Excellent communications and report writing skills.
Fluent in English and Arabic
How to apply
The selected Consultant is expected to start his/her activities at the soonest after selection; the exact timeline and effective working days are to be set based on both the company-s and the Consultant-s availability not exceeding the end of November 2023. The total budget allocated for the intervention is within the range of USD 250/man-day.

Technical (maximum two pages) describing the methodology to conduct the work based on the content suggested in section: “Scope of Work, Outputs, and Deliverables” elaborating it further.
