Expression of Interest are invited for Food Quality Inspection and Food Analysis Services.
1. The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world`s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. Each year, WFP assists some 80 million people in around 80 countries.
2. The WFP Goods and Services Procurement Unit seeks to purchase Food Quality and Quantity (Q&Q) and Commodity Vouchers through Trader-s Network (CVTN) Inspection and Lab Analysis Services for monitoring and controlling the quality and safety of the food operations managed by Yemen Country Office.
3. To mitigate the risk of food safety/quality of food assistance operations in Yemen, WFP seeks to collaborate with specialized food quality inspection companies and laboratories ONLY; unspecialised, inexperienced companies will be automatically DISQUALIFIED. WFP will only consider competent companies to deliver the requirements detailed in the Scope of Work (SOW).
4. WFP invites eligible service providers to express their interest in providing the food quality inspection and food analysis services.
