The dryer will be installed in the Mourusalmi fish harbor area owned by Posio municipality. The goal of the investment is to increase the versatile use of fish and high-quality further processing. The dryer container to be purchased must be thermally insulated. The food compartment of the dry container must have a grid surface, be acceptable for food use and be easy to keep clean. The dryer must be in a sea container about six (6) meters long. The capacity of the dryer must be designed for drying at least 500 kilograms of fish at a time. The operating principle of the dryer must be electrically operated circulating air drying, the drying power of which is sufficient for a high-quality end product. The air circulation must be comprehensive and the air must contact all surfaces of the products to be dried to guarantee uniform quality of the batch. In addition, the dryer must have a continuous measurement of the moisture of the fish batch to monitor the drying and adjust the drying process to ensure the quality of the final product.
