On 12 May 2016, It Was Formed From The Merger Of The Leichhardt, Ashfield And Marrickville Councils.Council Acknowledges That The Paringa Reserve Is Located On The Lands Of The Gadigal And Wangal Peoples Of The Eora Nation.Council Is Seeking Expressions Of Interest (Eoi) From Suitably Qualified And Experienced Food And Beverage Operators, Who Possess And Can Demonstrate The Desire And Passion To Establish, Manage And Nurture A Successful Kiosk Operation, That Will Be Integrated With And Become Part Of The Wider Balmain Community.Council Is Seeking Sustainable, Healthy And Innovative Food And Beverage Proposals That Will Promote And Facilitate Improvements To The Amenity, Vibrancy And Increased Use Of Paringa Reserve And Surrounding Areas By The Local Community, Public Users And Visitors. The Successful Proponent Will Be Required To Embrace And Deliver Excellence In Customer Service, Quality, Range And Seasonal Variety Of Products To Meet Consumer Demands And Expectations In Sustainable And Environmentally Conscious Ways.The Eoi Will Be Managed As A Single Stage Procurement Process To Assess, Shortlist And Recommend A Successful Proponent.
