The purpose of this project is to retain experienced and reliable FOI processing support services to assist the Client, on an ad hoc basis, in meeting obligations under MFIPPA. The project aims to enhance the Client's capacity to manage fluctuating FOI volumes and improve turnaround times.The successfulproponent will work collaboratively with the Client's designated team to manage the FOI process from intake through to disclosure, ensuring legal compliance, operational efficiency, and timely response to requesters.Services to be provided include, but are not limited to:a) intake and tracking of FOIrequests;b) preliminary assessment of scope and complexity;c) liaising with the Client's staff to identify and collect responsive records;d) reviewing records for relevance, sensitivity, and potential redactions;e) applying MFIPPA exemptions and preparing redacted records;f) drafting response lettersand notices;g) providing advisory support on complex or sensitive requests;h) supporting training or awareness efforts related to access and privacy, asneeded.
