No award will be made off this posting.The Salt Lake City VAMC is looking to purchase one electric flat bed cart. The cart needs to have an AC Motor with at least 6.0 hp, Integrated charging cable, Tires with a minimum B load gauge, taillights, battery gauge, horn, back-up alarm, and intergraded Deadman switch . A flat bed with removable siding or gates is required for transferring large amounts of cargo, and ease of unloading. Minimum 2-year warranty to start upon receipt of cart. Electric carts should seat no more than one (1) employee. Max Speed: 10 MPH. Minimum load compacity: 1, 400 lbs. A bright color such as yellow or orange is requested for high visibility while driving both inside and outside the facility.Salient Characteristics:MOTOR: 48-volt AC MotorOUTPUT RATING: 6.0 hp (5.0 kW)MOTOR CONTROL UNIT: motor controller unit meeting industry standards.BATTERIES: Standard: Six 8-volt batteries.CHARGER: Intergraded in the CartOVERALL LENGTH: Not to exceed 80 inches.
