Army contracting command-redstone has a sole source requirement to purchase 2500 yards of fire resistant (fr) laminate fabric with electro-static dissipation (esd) capabilities. This fabric will be produced for qualification of the aircrew combat equipment (ace).
Pursuant to 10 u.s.c. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by far 6.302-1(a)(2) this proposed contract action for supplies which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source: brookwood companies inc., 485 madison avenue, suite 500, new york, ny 10022-5877, cage code: 1wgz5. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposal. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
