Kings Transit Authority would like to procure a CAD/AVL system, Automatic Passenger Counting (APC) and implement an Automatic Fare Collection (Cashless Payment/Mobile Ticketing).For a complete or individual system CAD/AVL, Automatic Passenger Counting (APC) and Automatic Fare Collection (Cashless Payment/Mobile Ticketing) the Vendor-s proposal should include the supply of all software, equipment/hardware, as well as delivery, installation, configuration of the designated fixed routes and stops, warranty, training, licensing and supporting the initial set up of a data interface. Once these preliminary steps are complete, the Vendor will provide additional support as needed to address any issues with the use of equipment and provide general technical support for the remainder of the contract term. Proposals must also include any training provided to the Authority staff and training manuals for both operational and maintenance tasks.The software and hardware of the three systems mentioned above shall be manufactured, tested and ready to install. The hardware must be capable of being transferred to another bus should the current bus be retired.
