The purpose of the contract consists of the contracting of telecommunications services of the Ponteareas City Council, aimed at providing the local entity with infrastructure and advanced communications services that support the needs current and future in terms of fixed and mobile voice, data transmission, Internet access and communications security. The purpose of the contract is to improve the efficiency, quality and modernization of municipal public services, as well as strengthen the relationship between citizens and the City Council, through the implementation of a progressive, flexible and scalable communications network, capable of responding to the increase in demands for quality, availability and performance of applications and municipal services. The services covered by the contract must guarantee the continuity of existing services, as well as the full integration of the current infrastructure with the new solutions, ensuring an effective and safe transition, without loss of functionality. The communications network will constitute the strategic support of municipal technological and administrative processes, allowing the evolution of services and the incorporation of new infrastructure and content.
