It is the intent of the Government to process this procurement under FAR Part 12 procedures and to ultimately award a firm fixed priced (FFP) purchase order on a sole-source basis to American 3B Scientific (STOPS Medical). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard for this procurement is 339113 and a size standard of 800 (# of employees), respectively.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotes - A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
