THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method and any possible socio-economic set-aside.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following supply items:

Must Have:
Tray delivery cart must have a sound dampening construction. Must have double door tray delivery cart with a stainless-steel modular construction. Must have (standard) 4-3/4" to 5-1/2” tray height spacing with 1 tray per shelf for a total capacity of 16 trays. Must come with heat release vented side panels to prevent moisture buildup on the inside. Must have standard corner or full-perimeter bumpers to protect the cart, contents, and obstacles from damage. Must have either gravity-locking or magnetic-closing insulated doors with noise suppression door stops. Must have Stainless steel hinges will allow a 270° door swing for easy tray access. Must come with an interchangeable rack system with adjustable sizing to accommodate for different tray sizes. The racks must have noise reduction features and are easily removeable for deep cleaning.
