Tender Details

Tender are invited for Installing and maintaining erosion and sediment control devices and tree protection measures at all times throughout the construction period. Perform clearing, stream diversion, pumped silt control system, excavation, grading, etc. as required to complete the work. Implementing and maintaining all necessary temporary traffic (vehicular and pedestrian) control measures as required to complete the work, including but not limited to a full road closure and detour during bridge and major construction tasks. Maintaining pedestrian traffic and accessibility at all times is a critical requirement of this project. Complete removal of the existing dual-cell pipe culvert roadway structure, including the headwalls, wing walls, and adjacent retaining wall. Construction of a single span precast prestressed slab bridge over a tributary to Rock Creek. Substructure construction requires drilled shafts with rock sockets for the foundations, reinforced concrete abutments and wing walls, and an architectural formliner finish. Superstructure construction requires installation of precast prestressed concrete slabs (multiple adjacent slabs), cast-in-place concrete sidewalks and parapets (with architectural formliner finish), cast-in-place deck overlay, ornamental railings, and metal traffic barriers. Water main and sanitary sewer relocation work, are included and required for the bridge construction. Approx 500 LF of roadway improvements are included in the project along the south and north approaches to the bridge. Roadway improvements include a new sidewalk along the east side of First Street, new and replacement curb and gutter to modify parking along First Street, reconstruction of a parking pad, a new storm drain system adjacent to the bridge and park, full-depth asphalt pavement reconstruction, mill and overlay asphalt pavement construction, etc. Proper disposal of all debris and excavated materials at an approved site; and Restoration of all disturbed areas.
