The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit Proposals from qualified service providers to operate as firewood concession operators (vendors) in the following provincial parks in Manitoba:• Grass River Provincial Park (Northern Manitoba)• Paint Lake Provincial Park (Northern Manitoba)• Wekusko Falls Provincial Park (Northern Manitoba)• Watchorn Provincial Park (Central Manitoba)• Lundar Beach Provincial Park (Central Manitoba)Firewood concession operators (vendors) will be authorized to conduct firewood sale to the various provincial campgrounds in accordance with the described specifications on the attached Appendix “A” and where Manitoba is prepared to enter into an Agreement with a qualified operator whose proposal is judged to best serve the interests of the Manitoba Government when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria.Firewood sale may be conducted by mobile operation (vehicle service), from a vending unit (supplied/operated by the operator) or from a fixed sale location (concession site) within the campground.The Manitoba Government is also open to expanding the firewood concession to include additional services or amenities—such as food service or merchandise— pending the submission and review of a business plan outlining the proposed offerings.Manitoba is prepared to entertain the following encumbrance type(s) in securementof the concession service(s):a) Parks Controlled General Permit - One (1) year term onlyb) Parks Controlled ...
