Description
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement to purchase 217 Fire Extinguishers at the Glen Canyon Dam, in Page Arizona. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Parts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as a total small business set aside. NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 325998 with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a qualified vendor to supply and replace 217 fire extinguishers at the Glen Canyon Field Division, located at 805 Bureau Street, Page, Arizona 86040. This procurement includes both the delivery of new fire extinguishers and the removal and proper disposal or recycling of the existing units.The contractor must be capable of handling both Dry Chemical and Halotron fire extinguishers in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.Documentation verifying the proper disposal of all extinguishers is required. Additionally, the contractor shall provide any necessary materials to prepare the extinguishers for shipment.Specifications will be provided with the solicitation. Offerors must include all associated costs in their pricing, including shipping and pickup services at the Glen Canyon Field Office.SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The release date for the final and formal solicitation number 140R4025Q0056 is anticipated to be released in August 2025.
