Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Financial support program for the transition to green energy of women with economic activities in agriculture.

The joint UNDP and FAO project "Emergency support for agricultural producers in the context of the socio-economic, climate and energy crisis" will support women practicing agricultural economic activities in 16 districts of the country to implement renewable energy transition solutions and apply efficient technologies from an energy point of view, by providing non-reimbursable financial assistance.

In total, 75 projects to increase energy resilience will be supported by UNDP Moldova with the financial support of Switzerland and Japan:

The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation will finance through UNDP 45 project proposals: 30 with a value of up to US$6, 000 submitted by women practicing agricultural activity at household level and 15 in the amount of up to US$18, 000 submitted by the owners of small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises.
The Government of Japan will support 30 projects through UNDP: 20 worth up to 5, 000 US dollars submitted by household agricultural producers and 10 worth up to 10, 000 dollars submitted by small and medium agricultural producers.
Support will be provided for activities such as the installation of photovoltaic panels and machines for the production of biogas, the installation of heat pumps, biomass boilers, for various energy efficiency measures in warehouses and rooms used in the production process, but also for other actions which contributes to increasing the energy autonomy of micro, small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises run by women.
