The object of the acquisition is a system to be delivered as a SaaS service (Software as a Service) intended for budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting and analysis of the economy. The goal of the acquisition is an overall solution that supports Elenia's finances planning, monitoring and reporting from the operational level up to the group level. The system must support the budget and forecasting processes of the business operations as well as the comparison of the budget and the realization. The solution must enable the utilization of financial information for reporting and analysis in such a way that the information is up-to-date, transparent and easily usable for different user groups. The system must be suitable for fulfilling Elenia's statutory financial reporting obligations, including Finland's separate financial statements in accordance with the Accounting Act and consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In addition, the system must enable consolidated statements in accordance with IFRS (income statement, balance sheet and financial statement) preparation also from budget and forecast data. The system's support for IFRS 16 calculation and reporting can be taken into account in the later stages of the procurement. The goal of the acquired system is to guide and encourage users to do financial planning and monitoring primarily in the system instead of separate tools such as Excel.
