FIELD IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SSES 2026 MAIN SURVEY SSES - International Survey on Social and Emotional Skills is one of the latest comparative studies of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). IN In Poland, on behalf of the Ministry of National Education, the study is conducted by the Educational Research Institute - National Research Institute. Students from two age groups will participate in the study: 10 and 15-year-olds. The survey also covers school principals as well teachers teaching the surveyed students (teachers teaching in the classes attended by the surveyed students). The survey among students is of an auditory nature and will be conducted on computers using a web browser. Students on computers they complete a set of questionnaires regarding their social and emotional competences, as well as a survey regarding their opinions, attitudes, educational experiences, and home environment. Estimated number of schools where the research will take place: - approx. 94 schools (+/- 3 schools) in the case of ten-year-old students - these will be primary schools. - approx. 80 schools (+/- 3 schools) for fifteen-year-old students - these will mainly be secondary schools, but the sample may also include primary and students in primary schools.
