The Government currently employs FiBO 250 interferometers in support of repair and manufacturing. The interferometers have been used in the Government-s infrastructure for more than five years. The purchase of any model other than the FiBO 250 would provide incompatible parts that cannot be interchanged with the current FiBO 250 interferometers currently in use. Therefore, additional parts and accessories would need to be maintained for both the FiBO 250 and any other models.
