the food and drug, (fda) has a requirement to purchase a fiber optic hydrophone, onda product # hfo-690, brand name or equal.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, (streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.

frequency response from 3 khz to 150 mhz
spatial resolution of at least 100 microns
sensitivity of at least 6 mv/mpa
noise equivalent pressure no more than 0.25 mpa (2mhz bw), 0.3 mpa (10 mhz bw), and 0.5 mpa (100 mhz bw)
