Federation University Test & Tag Services
The successful Company must have the ability to provide the following services• To Provide RCD testing of building switchboards• To provide test and tagging of all university building assets• Have an electronic portal capable of maintaining an asset and equipment register of all test & tag results and recommendations• These items will be grouped into buildings/departments. Each group will be scheduled for service as per the Australian Standard timelines.• The ability to provide a service outside of the schedule.• The ability to provide a corrective service. (i.e. replacing plug ends as required).• Have the experience, qualifications and licences applicable to your trade.• Ability to provide own equipment.• All services to be at time of day determined by Federation University.• Services provided are to be in accordance with Standard AS/NZ 3760:2022 two (2) year testing requirement unless deemed as high risk due to the site being a workshop or hostile environment. • Push Button Test: six (6) month push button testing - All bar-coded circuit breakers to be scanned during the testing process. • Operating Time Test: twelve (12) months - Environment where the equipment or supply flexible cord is subject to flexing in normal use OR is open to abuse OR is in a hostile environment.
