Description
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source Task Order against a General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule contract for ThinkRF R5550-408 Spectrum Analyzers. This order will be issued under GSA contract GS-07F-281AA (NAICS code 334515, size standard 750) to Saelig Company, Inc. 71A Perinton Parkway; Fairport, NY 14450-9104; UEI LPB1M519DKJ1, on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.4, FAR Part 12, and FAR Part 13. A Limited Source Justification will be posted as an amendment to this notice at a later date.
This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR Authority 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the work. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Multiple-Award Schedule Program (41 U.S.C. 251, et seq. and 40 U.S.C. 501). For this requirement, Saelig Company, Inc possesses the necessary capabilities.
The Requiring Activity is Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Enforcement Bureau (EB), Equipment Development Group (EDG).
This requirement is to purchase seven (7) ThinkRF R5550-408 spectrum analyzers to upfit EDG designed mobile direction finding vehicles. The spectrum analyzers are available from resellers, one of which is in the U.S.
The list of minimum salient characteristics/features a spectrum analyzer must have in order to meet the Enforcement Bureau-s requirements are listed below:
