Bid Synopsis:The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal to expand evidence-based home visiting services to counties and tribes in the state that are at high risk for poor maternal, child, and family outcomes. The Department of Children-s and Families (DCF) funds and administers contracts for Family Foundation Home Visiting Programs (FFHV) aiming to improve maternal, child, and family outcomes in at-risk communities through the provision of voluntary, high-quality, evidence-based home visiting programming and coordination with needed services. Evidence-based home visiting services herein are described as the following five national home visiting models: Healthy Families America, Parents as Teachers, Nurse Family Partnership, Early Head Start Home Based, and Family Spirit.
