Canadian Nuclear Laboratories Ltd. (CNL) is issuing Request for Pre‑Qualification (RFPQ) No. 1076007 to identify qualified proponents for the Facilitating Electrical and Energy Distribution (FEED) Project at the Chalk River Laboratories site, Chalk River, Ontario.The Project involves the design development, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and integration of a new 13.8 kV looped electrical distribution system, forming part of an interim electrical infrastructure solution to transition site electrical loads from the new Customer Transformer Station (CTS) to multiple facilities across the site. The work will be executed within an operational, regulated environment and must maintain continuity of electrical service.The purpose of this RFPQ is to pre‑qualify three (3) to five (5) proponents with demonstrated technical capability, organizational capacity, financial strength, and relevant experience delivering comparable high‑voltage electrical distribution or utility infrastructure projects, including experience in brownfield or operational environments.This RFPQ constitutes Part 1 of a two‑stage procurement process and is intended to result in a shortlist of qualified proponents who may be invited to participate in a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP).
