The government intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for engineering services related to the F-15 aircraft. This requirement will cover a12-month base period and 4, 12-month ordering periods. This effort will be a sole source acquisition to Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE: 81755) for engineering technical services to perform software maintenance for the F-15 Automated Form F (AFF) generators and Automated Weight and Balance System (AWBS) software. The AFF is an aircraft specific Windows based computer program to automate generation of flight clearance forms, known as a Form F, for government aircraft. This requirement entails providing help desk support for the AFF and AWBS software system for field users, researching current TOs to determine loading configurations that are possible for the F-15 airframe and update the applicable charts in AFF. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to the requirement; however, this notice of intent is not a requirement for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This requirement is non-commercial.
