The object of the procurement is the manufacture, finishing and delivery of the exhibition structures (setworks) of the National Museum of Finland's / National Museum ("Procurement Unit") the opening exhibition "Alku" of the National Museum of Finland ("Goods"). Alku is the opening exhibition of the National Museum of Finland, which explore human ways of structuring the universe, its origin and meanings in different cultures and eras. The exhibition will be opened to the public in connection with the reopening of the National Museum in April 2027. The exhibition structures play a central role in the whole: they create a spatially impressive frame for the contents, objects and digital elements of the exhibition. The goal of the procurement is to obtain high-quality, museum-friendly and long-lasting exhibition structures that implement the exhibition plan design principles and technical requirements. The goods must be designed in such a way that the parts belonging to it can be disassembled, stored, transported and reassembled for possible future exhibition and touring needs. is based on the exhibition plans and general drawings prepared by the exhibition design office (Event / Museum Studio).
