Description of the service: Execution of the works described in the "Basic project and execution of reform and rehabilitation of the building, facilities and premises of Mercavallès (phase 1 replacement of the cover)", drawn up by the team of UTE COR ASSOC S.L. i ESTUDI PSP ARQUITECTURA S.L.P., with NIF U72916125 and signed by the person who legally represents it, the architect Ramon Torrents, member COAC number 28.154-9. The roof of the Mercavallès building is in a state of deterioration that compromises the conditions of safety, tightness and conservation of the equipment, making ordinary maintenance actions insufficient. Likewise, the roof contains materials with asbestos content, the removal of which is in line with the recommendations and objectives of the European Union in matters of public health and safety, which urge the elimination of asbestos from public buildings before the year 2028.
