Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Execution of the Rehabilitation Work of the Banks of the Riviere De Trou Du Nord.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance is now soliciting closed bids from eligible bidders who meet the required qualifications to provide works to protect the Trou du Nord river, mainly inside the Parc Industriel de Caracol, in order to avoid flooding. The construction period is eight (8) months.
The infrastructures in question include:
The laying of 18, 000 m3 of 1.50 m thick riprap
The raising of 80 cm of the river bed
The laying of 12, 000.00 m2 of geotextile
Placing of 28, 000.00 m2 of geo pre-vegetated coconut fiber mat
The preparation or purchase and installation of 17, 400 units of fascine sausages
The preparation or purchase and installation of 28, 000 units of wooden piles
Installation on the banks 14 000 m2 of anti-erosion mat in biodegradable geotextile
Preparation or purchase and installation of 4, 100 units of fascine at the foot of the banks
Construction of 80, 000 m3 of earthworks (excavation / backfill)
Disposal of 33, 000 m3 of excess excavation.
