EXECUTION OF CONDITIONING, IMPROVEMENT AND REHABILITATION OF THE PONT DE MOLINS BRIDGE DIVERSION DAM ON THE MUGA RIVER IN THE PONT DE MOLINS TM - CO-FUNDED BY THE EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND (FEDER) EU, FEDER CATALONIA 2021-2027 Description of the provision: The Muga diversion weir is part of the Darnius Boadella reservoir system and its construction began at the end of the sixties of the last century in order to divert water to the right and left channels of the Muga The dam has six sluice gates, three on the right bank and three others on the left bank with a practically symmetrical arrangement that, although they are operational, their status is uncertain. In response to this need, the works will consist of the replacement of the floodgates of the weir and those of the catchments of the irrigation channels and the boards of the floodgates of the catchment chamber will be dismantled, repaired and expanded. In addition, the installation of metal shortcuts is planned for the replacement of the floodgates of the weir, as well as the installation of shortcuts upstream of the floodgates of the loading chambers, taking advantage of the favorable geometry of this work.
