Examination of the language the pupils encounter at school The Language Council wishes to carry out an investigation of language and linguistic quality in widely used teaching aids and digital resources and tools in the school. The purpose of the investigation is to obtain knowledge about and insight into the the written language landscape around the students in the school. The Language Council wants the chosen supplier to assess how the language and the linguistic quality of teaching materials and digital resources and tools can affect the pupils' reading and writing development in Bokmål and nynorsk.The survey is part of the Language Council's work to map the language situation in Norway and follow up the work on access children and young people have to the Norwegian language, and to Bokmål and Norwegian in education. The aim is that the results of the survey should the strong knowledge base for our language policy work.
