The purpose of this Call for Quotation (CfQ) is to undertake a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) of Malta-s 4th River Basin Management Plan, in line with the Strategic Environmental Assessment Regulations, Subsidiary Legislation 549.61, on the assessment of the effects of certain plans and programmes on the environment. The SEA will evaluate environmental and climate impacts, identify key constraints and opportunities, and support alignment with relevant policies. It will also inform decision-making and ensure environmental considerations are integrated into the plan-s development and implementation.
