This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with far 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Synopsis/Solicitation N0017826Q1612 is being issued as an invite to Small Business concerns that are interested in becoming a prospective vendor on the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Hardware and Components to submit the requested information that is listed in the synopsis listed below. The awards issued will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
This requirement is eligible for small business set-aside.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to fulfill this requirement; however, the Government reserves the right to not award any BPA and does not guarantee any order placements. The resultant BPA award will be a total of five (5) years to include a base year plus four (4) option years. The Government is obligated only to the extent of the authorized orders made under the BPA.
Please note that a BPA is not a contract. A BPA is a streamlined method for acquiring services on an as-needed basis from qualified sources that are readily available and thus eliminate the need for repetitive costly re-procurements.
