ETCS balises The ETCS train control system is used on the SBB Infrastructure network. Eurobalises are an essential part of the route equipment. The aim of this tender is to select a strategic contractual partner (Single Source), which ensures the long-term availability of the Eurobalises as well as technical support throughout the entire product life cycle for ETCS Levels 1 and 2. The order includes a framework contract for the delivery of hardware as well as a Service and support agreement. Hardware Delivery of Eurobalises for ETCS Levels 1 and 2 including fastening material, track connections, balise deactivation devices as well as programming and testing equipment. The framework contract is for one The contract is concluded for a fixed period of ten years and can then be extended three times by the client for five years each (maximum total term of 25 years). Engineering and Services Provision of the necessary programming and Test applications as well as implementation of programming and testing services before commissioning and on site. Service and support Conclusion of a service and support contract for the entire product life cycle including software maintenance, Software updates, obsolescence management as well as guaranteed response and repair times.
