Tenders are invited for Estec Replacement Large Cooling Systems Gd Building
The objective of this activity is to replace large obsolete cooling systems located in Gd building at ESTEC with new, modern and energy efficient systems. These thermal energy production systems are supplying a significant portion of the site with chilled water, and their replacement is therefore key to support ESA's core business in the best conditions. Furthermore, these new systems include increased capacity to address the cooling capacity demands of the new Hertz 2.0 facilities, currently under construction.The detailed design and engineering of the new systems is complete. The aim of this procurement is to contract a company for the supply, installation and commissioning of the new systems. This infrastructure includes various general infrastructure components: -mechanical infrastructure: ocold generation equipment, i.e. industrial chillers, oheat rejection equipment, i.e. cooling towers, ohydraulic management and distribution equipment, e.g. pumps, valves, piping, -control and regulations infrastructure:ofield control equipment, e.g. servo actuators, variable speed drives, othermal energy management systems, e.g. thermal and electrical energy meters, obuilding automation and control systems, e.g. digital control and supervision system;olow-voltage installation for electrical power supplyosafety and security systems, e.g. fire and gas detection systems-civil infrastructure:oload bearing structures for heavy equipment
