The different Areas of EGEMASA present independent and recurring needs to acquire materials included in the categories subject to the SDA (Work clothing, special clothing and protective clothing. This demand is continuous and, furthermore, it is hardly can be prepared with precision, to the extent that replacement and purchases are determined by actual consumption, wear, deterioration due to use, unforeseen incidents, size/season changes, breakages, operational emergencies and unexpected needs derived from the provision of services. The need lies in providing clothing, work clothes, accessories and personal protective equipment essential for carrying out EGEMASA's own services according to the requirements set forth in the Occupational Risk Prevention Law by which workers, in the development of their work functions, must have Personal Protective Equipment that fully guarantees Safety and Health at work. Consequently, it makes it necessary to have a contracting system that allows the real needs of each Area to be met in an agile and flexible manner, guaranteeing at all times the availability of clothing and protective equipment required by the regulations in matter of occupational risk prevention.
