Skaningsrud school and resource center is a special school for children with various functional challenges. The building is in very poor condition, and will be moved to Haugtun. The existing Haugtun primary school has been closed, and planned measures include the demolition of both the existing building mass which is to be replaced withnew construction. A new school building is planned over 2 floors, with a pitched roof, primarily built with cladding and load-bearing structures in wood. The building must have high environmental ambitions, and must be BREEAM GOOD certified.
