Tender Details

The city of Espoo Tilapalvelut-liikelaitos (later the Client) is requesting bids for the design of Espoolainestalo and its surroundings. After completion, the building will serve as the new Espoo Citizens' House, where the city of Espoo's decision-making, key administrative areas and spaces intended for public use will be located.The surrounding blocks will have residential construction, business premises and a parking facility, which will be designed to the level described in the appendices.

1.) Espoolainstentalo

Espoolainstentalo block will be formed after the site plan change, mainly from block 40215 (block number according to the current plan). Virasto house VT2 has been demolished from the plot.

The gross area of ​​the building is approximately 18, 000 brm2.

Form of implementation:

To be determined in connection with project planning during 2024.

Target schedule:

Planning will start in February 2024 (architectural planning has started in September 2023). The building will be completed in the spring of 2029.

2.) Environment

The residential buildings in the competition area will be formed into blocks after the development of the site plan change.

The area of ​​the residential blocks is approximately 26, 000 m2 in total.

Parking facility:

Planned from scratchi under the residential blocks in the north as two floors. Number of places: approx. 360 students
