Expression of Interest are invited for E&S Consultant - Unitel Privatization.
Description: International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) has been mandated by Unitel S.A. (“Unitel”) to act as lead transaction advisor in its partial re-privatization through the sale of the shares held by one or more of Unitel-s shareholders on the Angola Securities and Debt Stock Exchange (“BODIVA”) and/ or by any other suitable mechanism in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Angola (the “Project”). IFC seeks to hire an environmental and social (E&S) firm to support IFC with the E&S work related to the sell-side due diligence and transaction implementation, including (i) conducting E&S due diligence of the company; and (ii) preparation of an E&S scoping study that recommends possible mitigation measures to manage identified risks in line with national legislation and IFC Performance Standards.
