Power Systems and Protection Laboratory Tender Specifications:
1) Complete bill of material for all equipment must be provided.
2) Data Sheets for all components must be supplied.
3) GJU has the right to eliminate parts of the equipment.
4) All equipment must be compatible, and no additional component or
equipment needed to operate and run the experiments. If at any point
before final handover, it is discovered that additional equipment is needed
to fully run the experiment, then they must be provided by the bidder at no
additional cost.
5) All equipment under three-years free Warranty.
6) Three (3) complete kits must be supplied, but GJU has the right to reduce
the number of kits based on budget.
7) The offered equipment shall be suitable for expansion to cover smart grids,
and microgrid application in the future.
Scope of Work:
The design, supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and training of all
necessary equipment, sources, tools, cabling, components, stations, measuring
equipment, and furniture (benches, racks, lab chairs) to perform student
educational experiments as following:
1. Transmission line performance under different operating conditions (short,
medium and long).
2. Load characteristics (resistive, inductive and capacitive).
3. Real and reactive power flow and control of a transmission line.
4. Characteristics of different types of sequence components.
5. Balanced and unbalanced faults.
6. Power system transients and stability.
7. Current and voltage transformers.
8. Fuses.
9. Instantaneous relays (under/over voltage, under/over frequency, over
current).
10.Time overcurrent relays.
11. Differential relaying and protection for transformers.
