Background
Northport VA Medical Center, Environmental Management Service, Grounds Department, is seeking to acquire a large 6, 000 lbs. 4-wheel diesel engine operated forklift. The current forklift is beyond economical repair as it is aging and needs constant repairs. Having a new forklift with the capabilities below will make it possible for the Grounds Department to maximize the increasing workload and operations. The proposed forklift is a Sellick SLP 60K4e-4PS, 4WD, Powershift, 4-Speed or equivalent model.
