Equipment acquisition broken down into 3 lots: Lot 1: Semi-automatic calorimetry equipment titulation isothermic; Lot 2: Crystallization and Lot 3 Robot: Metabolic analyzer for the molecular and functional characterization of biological systems. Project EQC2024-008019-P, financed 50% Government of Aragon, and 40% FEDER and 10% State Investigation Agency.
To enrich research Within the Lacrima Laboratory, specialized in the search and development of drugs, we propose the acquisition of critical equipment for molecular characterization and thermodynamic protein study. These equipment include: a semi-automatic equipment of titration isothermal calorimetry (ITC), to determine the thermodynamic parameters of protein-bright interactions (eg drug-diana); A protein crystallization robot (small volume management system of great precision), essential to obtain protein crystals that allow us to solve three -dimensional structures and understand the structure function relationship; and an automated metabolism analyzer, for real -time measurements of cell metabolism and mitochondrial function. This integration of technologies will enhance the understanding of the dynamics of interaction between small compounds and proteins, fundamental for the discovery of more efficient and specific therapeutic agents
