Description : Stockholm Exergi''s largest location — Värtan, Stockholm, Sweden — holds a current source of back-up and peaking electric power, named G3, consisting of a 54 MW Stal Laval gas turbine generator set commissioned in the year of 1969. The set has reached the end of its technical service life and consequently needs to be replaced to ensure continued back-up electric power and grid black start capabilities. The scope of this purchase is a gas turbine generator set delivery, installation and commissioning with a power output of 47 to 54 MWel. Purchaser is open to consider used equipment with a minimum of 5 000 hours of remaining operation until major overhaul. Fuel is liquid - gasoil S (in Sweden known as ‘EO1-) and bio oil. Installation to take place in existing building. Disassembly of existing machinery and civil and building works on purchaser.
