Description
NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a follow-on contract, Environmental Test and Integration Services (ETIS) IV, to provide support to the NASA/GSFC Engineering and Technology Directorate (ETD).
The principal purpose of this contract is to acquire environmental test and integration engineering and related services for ETD-s Mechanical Systems Division and related organizations throughout GSFC, as required, for the formulation, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification, and operations of space flight and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions. The environmental test and integration engineering areas of emphasis are multidisciplinary with concentrations in the areas of structural loads analysis and engineering design, thermal, contamination and coatings, manufacturing optics and recertification.
The place of performance for ETIS IV will be at NASA/GSFC.
It is anticipated that the subject contract will be a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single-Award contract with a five-year ordering period, with a potential additional 6 months per FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.
The Government anticipates a release of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) in May 2024. This will be an opportunity for potential offerors to provide questions, comments or any concerns regarding the DRFP and attachments which includes the SOW. Further, potential offerors will be instructed to submit their Organization Conflict of Interest (OCI) mitigation strategies after DRFP release in order for NASA to review them and provide responses to each potential offeror prior to the final RFP release. No proposal/offer is to be submitted during this posting.
