The assignment includes planning and rebuilding to enable security housing, with special consideration that existing operations and tenants will remain in the property throughout the project period.
The Gullvivan property is located in Fiskebackskil on Skaftoe and includes a total of 2016 sqm. The building is divided into three premises, one of which was previously used as special accommodation with 12 apartment -like rooms and common areas. Another part has been rented by Lysekil Municipality's home service, and a third is rented by the Vastra Goetaland region, which plans to remain in its premises during the project time.
There are also nine apartments that are rented out to resident tenants on the property's farm area, which will stay throughout the project. These apartments are not included in the project.
The plan is to convert parts of the property into a social housing or similar form of housing for the elderly. The home service will continue to rent premises but on a smaller area than today, with staff spaces relocated to the basement floor/ground floor.
