Tender Details

The subject of the Competition is the development of an architectural and artistic proposal for the modification of the public space, which forms the natural main entrance to the recently revitalized Jiráskovy sady park. The current appearance of the site is mainly affected by the removal of the monument "Čest a glory to the Soviet Army", which has been standing here since 1975. The client's goal is the dignified completion and improvement of the residential qualities of this visually and operationally exposed space, and at the same time its sensitive integration into the comprehensive concept of the Jiráskovy sady park, also created from an architectural competition (2011). The specific solution for entering the Jiráský orchards is left to the invention of the participants, it is not specified by content, theme or form. It can be a work of art of various nature, small architecture or landscape design. NOTE: For administrative reasons (the functionality of the contracting authority's profile), the contract is published on the contracting authority's profile as an open procedure, but it is an open design competition.
