The subject of the contract is to ensure online access to the data of the electronic information source - a database that serves as a source of information for the needs of the implementation of scientific research, development and evaluation of science within the Slovak Republic, but also for the needs of the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in evaluation levels of educational and research activities. The global bibliometric citation database should be a multidisciplinary bibliographic and scientometric database that provides an extremely wide view of the published scientific works and thus science and research on a global scale. Access to the database for the Slovak Scientific community, respectively. Science and research institutions are essential for several reasons:
• Awareness of scientists about the latest knowledge through published works,
• Tracking current research trends in individual disciplines,
• Get feedback to published results through citations,
• Assessment of the quality of published works, scientific teams and institutions through bibliometric indicators,
• Tracking data on published works by Slovak authors for the Central Register of Publication Activities Register of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic),
• Tracking data on the citation of Slovak authors in foreign publications for the purposes of accreditation of universities, study programs, habilitation, inauguration and other scientific procedures, evaluation of projects, etc.
