Potential suppliers are invited to attend an upcoming industry briefing session for a possible approach to market for the LAND1771 Tranche 2 Enhanced Geospatial Support System for the Land Force.
Industry Briefing Details : Date : Wednesday 27 November 2019Time : 9am - 1pm (Canberra Time)Venue : Ground Floor Training Room 1, Building BP25 Brindabella Business Park Canberra, ACT, 2600
LAND1771 Tranche 2 Geospatial Support System for the Land Force will provide the Australian Defence Force (ADF) with integrated fixed and deployable systems to collect, manage, analyse and disseminate geospatial information across the ADF. This includes land, aerial, littoral geospatial survey and multimedia collection systems, and advanced analysis, production and dissemination technologies that directly support Joint Force elements in the conduct of Planning, Battlespace management, Navigation and Targeting through the provision of timely, accurate and relevant terrain information and geospatial intelligence.
Prior registration is required for attendance to the briefing.
A brief description of the wide range of elements within the scope of the project are as follows :
Geospatial Data Collection : Aerial Survey : Provide high resolution, broad spectrum imagery through scalable, platform-agnostic (manned / unmanned) aerial sensors that may incorporate advanced technologies such as Hyperspectral Imagery (HSI), Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), and Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI)
Land Survey : Survey sensors and software to provide high precision survey data for analysis. Reduce tactical vulnerability and increase the efficiency of engineer tasks by reducing the time required conducting surveys and examine options for remote survey systems such as unmanned system based survey.
Littoral and Riverine Survey : Provide littoral and riverine survey craft and upgraded sensors for rapid collection of environmental, hydrographic and bathymetric data. Provision of geospatial support infrastructure to amphibious platforms such as the Canberra-class Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD).
Reconnaissance : Provide the capability for geospatial enabled engineering reconnaissance data to be captured and stored to a repository for analysis to inform operational planning.
Analysis and Production : Advanced Analytics : Tools to improve analysis of `big data` from increasing range of Intelligence Surveillance and Reco...
