The Municipality of the District of Chester (MODC) owns and operates the Kaizer Meadow Environmental Management Centre (KMEMC) located at 450 Kaizer Meadow Road, Sherwood, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. This facility primarily serves residents of Lunenburg, Kings, and Annapolis Counties.
